About Me

My photo
19 to be, an enthusiast for all things red, pretty much paranoid about most things, an overthinker, passionate about reading and meeting new people (although sometimes awkward and have anxiety issues), loves fries (because let's face it, who doesn't?), spends an exorbitant amount of time on the Internet, and if I'm not obsessing about shopping, I'm probably having a nice cup of coffee with friends. (I also don't have the much hair as the girl to the left any more, due to the scorching heat in sunny Malaysia) x

Light sabers

WOAH WOAH HOLD UP.

Wait, what day is it today???????????

Okay, its Wednesday, which means I have approximately 4 more days till I start uni. Back to what I wanted to say...

I basically never watched Star Wars in my whole entire life, like I have legitly NEVER watched it before. So I recently downloaded all six episodes of Star Wars onto my laptop, and I've finished watching the first three which is The Phantom Menace, Attack of The Clones and Revenge of The Sith. I was watching it, and I was so awed by the light sabers and how young Natalie Portman was when she starred in it. Apparently the decoy queen Amidala was played by Keira Knightley and she was only fourteen!!!! Can you believe it?? I enjoyed the first three episodes immensely because the actors casted were good looking and the plot was pretty amazing, like in a mind-boggling way. So when I watched the fourth episode, I was like wtf, why is Harrison Ford so fucken young if the movie was made in the late 90s and early 2000s AND then when I Googled it up, the fourth to the sixth episode were the original Star Wars episodes, and George Lucas then decided to make a prequel to the existing Star Wars (at the time). I'm halfway through A New Hope which is the fourth episode of Star Wars and if anyone remembers, the opening scene was of Princess Leia, and I totally went like, WHAT!!!! WHY IS SHE NOT HOT!!!! I mean, look at Natalie Portman and Hayden Christensen, like hello???????? They would've made great babies (then I realised that the show was made in the 70s lol). Other than that, Luke Skywalker is alright-looking and Hans Solo is so handsome (yay good genes!). But seriously tho, anyone else hooked in becoming a Jedi or a Sith cuz I totally am.

Other than that, I watched Star Trek: Into Darkness (mainly) because (my baby Benedict Cumberbatch was the evil guy) there was some dispute between Star Wars and Star Trek fans. So I haven't done much research on Star Trek (but my baby looked amazing) but I guess the whole concept is pretty decent, and the storyline is alright too (I totally wasn't expecting Khan to like double cross them). But other than that, I can totally see why Star Wars > Star Trek. I mean light sabers are the winning point, hands down!!!! Seriously, if anyone were to remake Star Wars in this era, it would have definitely made a lot of money because let's face it, better graphics, better stunts etc. I mean, have you watched the latest Star Trek (which was released last year?) Mucho magnifique.

Gonna continue watching Star Wars.

Willkomen.

Wow.... It's been ages since I last opened a 'new post' page on blogger. Man, do I miss this interface or WHAT.

I've decided to come back to Blogger since about two years with Wordpress, because honestly, let's face it, nothing can beat the best user-friendly blogging interface in the world! Hands down. I've decided to maybe blog more, and share more experiences.

I've had this blog for years now, but I took off all my previous posts because, let's face it, they were all teenage ramblings which consisted of mostly heartbroken posts. Let's leave those all behind and start afresh, now, shall we?

So what's been happening?

I'm starting uni in approximately 12 days and I have to say; I've got mixed feelings about it! Mainly because I have no idea what to expect (let's face it, its another dimension to me) and also, actually, just because I don't know what to expect. I expect most of my friends to be there because most of them are in the same course as me (yay!) but I'm not too sure about meeting new people. Sure, that'll be fun but sometimes I get anxiety from meeting new people, especially when you meet too many, and you do your best to remember everyone but you just don't. Especially those who don't really stand out, I'm not being mean, but let's face it, we've all had our shares at this situation. IT WOULD BE SO DAMN AWKWARD if someone were to come up to you months after orientation and be like, Oh yeah dude, we were in the same orientation group! (This has happened to me, awkward much.) Other than that, I'm pretty excited for uni! Especially since there'll be more different people from different backgrounds. Also, more things to try (hopefully!) and I'm thinking of joining a few clubs!

The weather has been especially hot these past two weeks and I've been sitting in front of my stand fan all day long, just to minimise the sweating. Gross, I know but this isn't "tropical weather," GIVE ME BACK MY RAIN. It feels like a sauna in my room right now, and on days like this, I wish my parents had installed air conditioning for me!

Well, wish me luck for uni...
